The architectural concept for this residential and studio office endeavors to provide a simple and efficient solution to mitigate heat from the west and east directions. Embracing the "box house" idea, the design centers on a straightforward box-shaped structure, seamlessly blending modernity with Balinese architectural touches through the incorporation of brick detailing.
The warm tones of the brick material create a distinctive character, while the building's orientation to the north and south optimizes natural lighting and airflow. Furthermore, the concept adapts the studio office space to serve a dual function, seamlessly integrating it with the residential ambiance.
Traditional Balinese influences resonate through elements such as doors, windows, and accents, imbuing the space with a sense of warmth.
With the addition of a small indoor garden and an open terrace for relaxation, this concept harmoniously blends modern functionality with a welcoming touch of traditional aesthetics.
